Hi
I have a couple of trophies from the SSCC awarded to my late Father-in-Law A.H.Paterson. The plate is from 1936, 2nd Award H 2 D. The Mug could be identified to date from the silver hallmark – Highland Two Day Trial, 2nd Class Award, Autumn Half Day Trial, 3rd Class Award.
I am interested in the history and would value zany information you may have.
Regards
Gareth Davies
I have an original car badge which I am looking to sell,is there any interest these days ? Steve
Hi Steve
Not much, but some. One went on ebay in the last week or two for about £35. Is it in very good condition?
Cheers

Hello, I have a mk2 escort and I am interested in getting into some form of motorsport. What would you recommend?
Hi James – Welcome to the SSCC website! We run regular events that allow you to play with your car. The AutoSOLOs are open courses laid out on tarmac. You have several runs at each layout, and are timed to the second. These are suitable for complete novices through to seasoned campaigners. From there you may want to try sprinting, rallying,…. we can help, guide and advise through all aspects. Why not come along to our next event, either to compete or marshal? We’re a friendly bunch and welcome new faces.
The detail will be on this site (look at the event calendar) or the chat is on our Facebook group. It’s a closed group to keep out dodgy accounts, but we’ll approve you straight away.
Looking forward to meeting you!
Julian
Hi, I’ve acquired the remains of a Riley Imp owned by Hugh and Nan Train. I believe Hugh was a member of your club and I’m interested on any info and or pictures of the car. Registration number is KV 8933.
Hopefully you can help
