Marshals’ Call November 2019

Jim Clark Rally, 8th and 9th November 2019

The Jim Clark Rally is still looking for more marshals. If you are available to assist, and have not already done so, can you please register as soon as possible.

Every volunteer will play a very valuable role in the safe and smooth running of the event. As well as a warm welcome, marshals will receive a gift as a thank you.

If you are not already an accredited marshal there is still time to get registered at www.motorsportuk.org/Marshals/Online-rally-marshals-training Non-accredited marshals are still very welcome ā€“ you will be buddied with experienced registered colleagues.

Scottish Border Hill Rally, 16th and 17th November 2019

Once again I will be running the service area over the 2 days at Forrest Estate, St Johns Town of Dalry. There will be 3 controls to man so if you can assist on either of the days please get in touch by email or phone/text at Alistair.sscc or 07555 510306.

So that you can start to plan your visit, as a rough guide, Marshals Sign on will be from 7:30 on Sat & Sun, with a briefing by 8am, then on post by 9 with first car due at 10am. (You only need to sign on once on Saturday if you are assisting both days.)

Winter Autosolo/Autotest/PCA 2 Saturday 23rd November 2019

We are back at Ardeer for our last test of the year. If you can help please get in touch touch by email or phone/text at Alistair.sscc or 07555 510306. Gates will open at 09:00 with signing on from 10:00 and the first runs at 11:00. Hope to see you there.

Knockhill Stages, Sunday 8th December 2019

Keith Cowan has posted the following plea for marshals:

Dunfermline Car Club and Knockhill Racing Circuit will be running round 3 of the Motorsport News Circuit Rally Championship on Sunday the 8th of December.

As ever, I am looking for a full plethora of Marshals who would like to come and assist. Everyone is welcome, and you will even get fed.

This is the perfect rally for the end of the season, if you want to escape the festive season. šŸŽ…šŸŽ…šŸŽ…šŸŽ„šŸŽ„šŸŽ„

I cannot guarantee Sunshine, ( its Knockhill remember ) ā›„ā›„ā›„

But I can guarantee some fast sideways action and not a Santa to be seen

Le Jog, Monday 9th December 2019

I will be running a test at Loch Lomond Shores as the Le Jog Rally passes through on their way from Lands End to John Oā€™ Groats. Signing on will be at the overspill car park at Loch Lomond Shoes from 10:30 with the first car due at 11:28. We are scheduled to finish at 14:10.
